How you can help

If you are interested in joining our group as a volunteer and would like more information please email laura@dig-itgardens or give us a call at 07850 080869 to apply to be a volunteer for any of the roles below:

Volunteer Gardeners

Volunteer Gardeners can join us on our weekly sessions that take place on Monday & Thursday mornings (weather dependent). No experience is necessary just an interest in helping out with various tasks such as watering, sowing seeds, weeding and much more…

Sessions are led by our group leader who will offer a helping hand for anyone who takes part. The allotment aims to be a calming space where volunteers can learn new skills, develop their knowlege of growing and socialise in small groups. We have a fantastic site where we often like to share a cuppa in our outdoor seating area and occasionally enjoy meals from the produce grown.

Project Volunteer

Help run our sessions as a volunteer project volunteer and support our groups that we deliver to. Full DBS required for this role.

Volunteer Fundraiser or Supporter

Our charity is keen to hear from anyone who would like to support us with the much needed funds to run our projects. Events in the past have included stalls in local community events, live music nights and street collections. If you have any ideas on how to help – we’d love you to get in touch!

Dig It would love anyone wanting to support  us through individual donations, support with access to plants, seeds or equipment and any corporate teams that may want to support us with one-off events.
