Our Mencap Dig-It Club meets every Wednesday morning at the plot, where the group learn all about growing our their own food.
Members are supported by Jacquie Lucas and Steve and Wendy Lee. Our team leader is Lisa and we have a regular group including some from the ECL in Saffron Walden. Each week, the group take some produce back to the centre for cooking club the following day. Other members are encouraged to take some produce home.
This club has been running since July 2021 and we look forward to continuing through Autumn and the colder months with the use of a newly installed summer house. There is lots of time to eat a packed lunch and to have a chat over a brew too!
